Factory Acceptance Tests of rectifiers and UPS devices conducted at the manufacturer’s site
In situations where users want to make sure they will receive a functioning device and that the device fully meet the required specification, they may request Factory Acceptance Tests- FAT.
FAT is performed at the manufacturer’s factory, with a user’s representative present when the device functionality is checked. Testing usually includes:
• Visual inspection of the equipment,
• Basic functions test,
• Protective functions control,
• Measuring,
• Alarm checks,
• Issuing certificates and
• Submission of technical documentation.
