In October 2019, Konvereks organized a technical seminar on stationary lead acid batteries at the Crown Plaza hotel. Mladen Branković, general manager at Konvereks and Roberto Dalla Pozza, engineer at the FIAMM factory were the speakers. The topics covered were:
- Innovations in production of batteries,
- Description of different technologies,
- How batteries behave depending on application,
- Battery installation and maintenance – regular capacity testing, where problems occur during battery life,
- Battery life cycle, warranty conditions and end of life issues.
In addition, a new battery theft protection system was introduced. It is built into the battery case, so that its location can be monitored at any time, which is highly practical for remote locations without supervision.
